Sky High House
Situated at the foot of Mt Franklin, Sky High House is surrounded by 50 acres of Australian wilderness. The majority of the home offsets its rustic setting with a geometric design. Its angular form opens up to the terrain where floor-to-ceiling glazing showcases views of the bushland and mountains beyond in almost every room. A circular motif is found throughout the interior and exterior, mainly the saltwater pool. While the polished concrete floors and custom vanities continue the contemporary aesthetic, internal walls constructed from locally quarried stone are a nod to the rural landscape.
