Meta's Ray-Ban glasses proved people would wear a computer on their face if it looked like eyewear they'd already buy. Snap's SPECS build on that trend, projecting a 51-degree field of view equivalent to a 115-inch screen at ten feet through transparent waveguide technology, which means directions, messages, and media sit layered over the real world rather than replacing it. Swiss TR90 frames weigh 132 grams in the narrow fit, electrochromic lenses shift from clear to tinted in 10 seconds as you move indoors to out, and dual Snapdragon processors handle low-latency hand tracking and spatial world understanding, letting the glasses recognize and respond to the physical environment around you without a controller. Open-ear stereo speakers handle calls and audio while keeping you present to the environmental noise in real life. Two sizes, 47mm and 52mm, both prescription-ready. Expected to ship fall 2026.
