Solar Eclipse Camps
Although the US is going to experience its first total solar eclipse in almost 40 years, the rare site will only be completely visible along the path of totality. This 70-mile-wide arc will pass through just 14 states — starting in Oregon and ending in South Carolina — leaving the rest of the country with just a partial view. If your permanent residence is outside of this trail, head to one of these Solar Eclipse Camps. This list of campsites will ensure you're within the prime eclipse-viewing range on August 21st, otherwise, you'll be waiting until 2024 for the next one.
