Sonos Arc Soundbar
Dolby Atmos support has been table stakes for high-end soundbars for a while, leaving Sonos' otherwise solid Playbar out in the cold. Its successor, the Arc, remedies this in a big way. Behind its 270-degree, 76,000-hole grille lie 11 drivers — eight woofers and three tweeters — capable of serving as a standalone 5.0.2 Atmos system. Add in a couple of surrounds like the One SL and the newly-updated Sub, and you have a system powerful enough to match the outstanding visuals of the latest displays. It also has built-in mics for hands-free Alexa and Google Assistant control, support for AirPlay 2, and support for Trueplay, which uses the Sonos app on an iPhone or iPad to adjust the sound to the surrounding space. Available in black or white, it arrives in June.
