Leveraging technology developed for their Alpha line of still cameras yet built with video in mind, Sony's FX3 is a compact powerhouse. Its 12.1-megapixel full-frame, back-illuminated Exmor R sensor combines with a Bionz XR image processor to enable 4K video capture at up to 120 fps, an ISO range of 80 to 409,600, and a dynamic range of 15+ stops. 627 AF points enable precise focus tracking, including Real-time Eye AF, and 5-axis optical in-body image stabilization keeps things looking smooth. The body measures roughly 5" x 3" x 3" yet offers five 1/4-20 UNC threaded mounting points for attaching a wide variety of accessories and mounts, including the supplied XLR handle with two balanced XLR/TRS audio inputs and an additional 3.5mm stereo 2-channel jack.
