Sony NEX-7 Camera
We've been generally impressed with the evolution of compact interchangeable lens cameras over the last year or so, but the Sony NEX-7 Camera ($1,200 and up) represents about as big a leap forward as we've yet seen. Packing a crazy 24.3 megapixel, APS HD CMOS sensor, it's capable of out-shooting most DSLRs, and also offers the latest Bionz image processor, an ISO range of 100-16,000, a shutter release lag of only 20 milliseconds, 10fps burst mode shooting, an integrated XGA OLED TruFinder viewfinder, a three-inch LCD display that tilts up to 90 degrees up or 45 degrees down, Full HD, 60p 1080 video recording, and, of course, a full compliment of Program, Aperture/Shutter Priority, and Manual shooting modes.
