Sony Playstation VR2 Headset
A lot has changed in the VR landscape since the original PlayStation VR launched in 2016. Entering a market with standalone options like the Meta Quest 2 as well as high-end PC-powered rigs, the Sony Playstation VR2 has plenty of consumer-focused competition. Designed alongside the PS5, it connects via a single USB-C cable and offers advanced specs like 4K HDR visuals, 90/120Hz frame rates, eye tracking, and a 110º field of view. The white and black colorway is meant to pair well with the console, and also brings improvements like a lighter design, better venting, and a lens adjustment dial. Further details, including a launch date and pricing, have yet to be announced.
