In February Sony announced that they were working on a new VR experience for the PS5. While the headset remains under wraps, they are showing off the new controllers. Shaped like orbs that wrap around the player's wrists/arms, they offer an ergonomic, natural experience. They incorporate the adaptive triggers and advanced haptics of the latest DualSense while adding finger touch detection and tracking via a ring on the bottom. The iconic triangle, square, cross, and circle buttons are split across the two controllers, which also have the aforementioned triggers, "grip" sensors that replace the L1 and R1 commands, and analog sticks. The controllers will be sent out to developers in the coming weeks; no release date has yet been announced.
