Sony Reon Wearable Air Conditioner
It's hot enough to consider taking an air conditioner with you everywhere, and this option from Sony was created to do just that. The Reon is a pocket-sized air conditioner that fits into a special undershirt with a pocket at the base of the neck. Initially designed to be released to coincide with the now postponed 2020 Summer Olympics, the portable device connects to Bluetooth and can reduce the wearer's body temperature by as much as 23 degrees Fahrenheit. It runs off of a built-in lithium-ion battery and is controlled through a smartphone app that allows you to toggle between cool, warm, on and off, as well as set the temperature.
