Audio eyewear is still a nascent product category, but each of them up until now has the same problem: they're tied to a single frame. Soundcore Frames from Anker's audio offshoot looks to fix this with a novel Pull and Plug quick release system that lets users swap between ten different frame styles. As for the stems, each one has two drivers — one in front of the ear, one behind — for a more immersive experience. Sensors automatically pause audio when the frames are removed, and a private listening mode can be enabled automatically for phone calls. They support both touch and voice controls, offer 5.5 hours of playback per charge, and are IPX4 certified for water resistance.
