Stax SR-007S Headphones

Founded in 1938, Japanese firm Stax developed the world's first electrostatic headphone in 1959. They've been making them ever since, and the latest entry is the SR-007S, an update of the original SR-007 debuted in 1998. The revised model features updated diaphragms and newly redesigned large circular fixed electrodes with a 20% reduction in air vent hole diameter, increasing clarity while maintaining deep, resonant tones. A new Anti Resonance Structure incorporates a seamless stainless steel plate for enhanced rigidity and vibration reduction, furthered along by premium sheepskin earpads finished in a STAX signature brown. Outfitted with a detachable cable, they're like wearing a pair of reference monitors on your head.
