Straat 1983 Porsche 911 Coupe
Messing with perfection can be a dangerous thing, and that's why Miami-based specialists Straat went for a very subdued approach with this 1983 Porsche 911. Straat retained a nearly stock appearance for the exterior, opting for subtle details like projector-beam headlights with integrated turn signals and black accents that contrast with the light grey paintwork. Underneath, however, you'll find a 3-liter air-cooled flat-six mated to the legendary 915 five-speed manual gearbox. The flat-six features a Haltech engine management system controlling PMO fuel injection, blending modern performance with classic Porsche engineering. Brakes are upgraded discs from the 930, along with coilovers and 17-inch Fuchs-style wheels. The interior is finished green leather with 356-style squareweave cloth, vintage green instrumentation, and a six-speaker audio system with period-style head unit.
