Subaru WRX Project Midnight

Subaru's WRX Project Midnight is the fastest WRX race car ever built by the company. Debuting at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the car will make its North American premiere at the fifth annual Velocity Invitational at Sonoma Raceway in California. The WRX Midnight sports widebody aerodynamic bodywork with matte black paint. Power comes from a turbocharged 670 horsepower 2.0-liter flat-four that winds out to 9,500 RPM. Project Midnight weighs just under 2,500 pounds, over 1,000 pounds less than a stock WRX. California native Scott Speed will pilot Project Midnight around Sonoma's 12-turn course this October.
