Svord Carcass Splitter
Hand made in New Zealand, this traditional butcher's tool was re-created for a specific job: splitting hanging animal carcasses in half. It's made from a single piece of 8670-grade high carbon steel which then undergoes a differential tempering process that results in a very hard, sharp, impact-resistant edge. The handle is built to last as well, made from black matte finished Micarta and riveted using solid copper pins that were hand peened. The animal-splitting monster is finished with a scabbard made from vegetable tanned hand-stitched Italian leather and is ready to meet your butchering needs or just serve as an intimidating display piece.
