Tag Heuer Carrera Glassbox Chronograph

The original Heuer Carrera debuted in 1963. To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Tag Heuer is launching a new model that mixes modern and vintage cues. Named the "Glassbox" for its 1970s-inspired domed sapphire crystal that bends over the sloped tachymeter scale, it has three subdials and a date window. Interestingly, the blue reference has minimalist small seconds dial that helps accommodate the date at 6 o'clock, while the contrasting silver subdials of the reverse panda model necessitate placing the date at 12 o'clock, a move that recalls past Carerras. Both are powered by an updated version of the Heuer 02 movement, the TH20-00, which offers bi-directional automatic winding and an 80-hour power reserve.
