After appearing on stage last year in the form of a guy in a suit, Tesla's humanoid robot has reappeared in unfinished, yet functional, form. It makes its way through the world using the same AI-based object detection as Tesla's cars, allowing it to perform tasks like carrying boxes, organizing parts, and even water plants. Tesla founder Elon Musk claims that the robot could go on sale in the new few years, will be limited to a 5mph top speed, and for the truly paranoid, will have a hardwired off switch.
