The Barn Gallery

Occupying four wooded acres, the Barn Gallery is a sustainable retreat on the coast of Washington's Lopez Island. The home is meant to inspire others with its eco-friendly design practices like its reclaimed timber facade and rainwater collection and filtration system showcased in the front entrance. Inside, a spacious main living area highlights the work of local artists. The space is shared with a Ferrari red kitchen where a chef can prepare farm-to-table-fare. Meals served on a live edge black walnut dining table, fabricated at the on-site workshop. Lined with a wall of south-facing glass doors, the room is afforded expansive views of both the private meadow and the San Juan Channel.
