The Phoenicia Diner Cookbook

Built in 1962 and moved to its current location in the early '80s, the Phoenicia Diner is a staple for regular visitors of the Catskills, partially thanks to the current owner Mike Cioffi. He bought the roadside eatery in 2012 and brought it back to glory by giving the classics a modern tweak. Along with chef Chris Bradley and professor Sara B Franklin, Cioffi is sharing their take on the traditional comfort food with The Phoenicia Diner Cookbook. The book features 85 comforting recipes including classics like buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy to the more exotic Kimchi-Bulgogi Sandwich, along with inspiring photographs of the diner grounds and regional history.
