The Presidential Dram Bourbon & Rye Whiskey
Just in time for Inauguration Day, Proof & Wood Ventures have two new bottles available to mark the occasion. The Presidential Dram Single Barrel Rye and Single Barrel Bourbon are both barrel-proof spirits that were distilled at the famed MGP distillery in Indiana. The "One-Term" bourbon was aged for 4 years, while the "Two Term" Rye matured for 8 years before being bottled. They are sealed with blue and red wax, but both are meant to cross political party lines in an attempt to only debate the values of bourbon vs. rye. Both are being sold in the D.C. area and are limited to 20 barrels of One Term Bourbon, and only four barrels of Two Term Rye.
