Theon Design Porsche 964 R Restomod
Theon Design's take on the 964 911 gives the classic Porsche a full rebuild and carbon fiber makeover. The donor 964 is stripped to the bare shell and seam welded before bonding the carbon elements to the chassis. Carbon fiber is also used on the front splitter, rear diffuser, and whale tail spoiler. Aerodynamics are enhanced with a carbon fiber floor sculpted to increase downforce. To further weight savings, carbon fiber and magnesium wheels are used, with a design that references classic Wantanabe banana spokes. A liquid-cooled 4.0-liter flat-six makes over 500 horsepower, with a 0-60 time in three seconds. Theon Design plans to build 24 units of the Theon R, with around 18 months to complete each car.
