Tiger Woods' Tiger Slam-Winning Irons
In becoming the first golfer in modern history to win four consecutive Major Championships — including the 2000 US Open, the 2000 Open Championship, the 2000 PGA, and the 2001 Masters — Tiger Woods strung together what's likely the greatest stretch of golf the game has ever seen. He did it all playing these irons. The set includes 2-PW Titleist Forged irons as well as two custom Vokey wedges at 60º and 56º, both stamped "TIGER" and the latter being bent to 56º. The set was given to former Titleist exec Steve Mata who sold them at auction in 2010, the last time they became publicly available. Up for auction through Golden Age, they come with affidavits/declarations of the two Titleist executives in charge of Tiger's clubs, as well as the results of a polygraph test done by Steve Mata for the clubs' original sale in 2010.
