Toyota 4Runner TRD Surf Concept
Toyota dropped one of its 2024 SEMA concepts early this year — a 4Runner TRD kitted out for beach life. Built by Toyota's Motorsports Garage, this 4Runner started as a 2025 4Runner TRD Limited. The D-pillars, rear doors, and roof have been removed, with a custom roll bar over the back seats. In place of the roof is a custom removable hardtop. Fender flares add two inches of width to the track, along with wider wheels and upgraded suspension for extra ground clearance. The SUV wears a custom livery and TRD Surf graphics. Under the hood is the standard 2.4-liter turbocharged inline-four making 278 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. Toyota documented the build process in a series of videos ahead of the concept's SEMA debut.
