Triton Project Hercules Submarine
Triton Submarines aims to bring intimate, luxury underwater travel with the six-passenger Project Hercules submersible. Project Hercules is limited to a 646-foot depth and can travel at up to eight knots, with lounge-style seating and a movement profile that's more akin to an airplane than a sub. The four-thruster arrangement of Project Hercules allows for a smooth glide to depth, inside of the vertical movement of traditional subs, making for a more relaxing and scenic ride. An extendable foil on the front provides pitch trim and acts as a bumper for underwater obstructions. Triton has yet to announce specs or availability, with more information set to be released in the coming months.
