UAZ Hunter Expedition Vehicle

Russia is home to some of the most unforgiving terrain on the planet, and UAZ builds bombproof vehicles to tackle it. Like the SGR Expedition Van, the Hunter is based on a design that dates to 1971 and was originally manufactured for the Russian army. Dead simple, stripped-down, and easy to maintain in the field, the Hunter is powered by a 2.6-liter four making 128 horsepower and 150 lb-ft of torque with a five-speed transmission and a locking rear differential. Powered front and rear bumpers for electric jacks or winches, brush bars, and a rooftop rack give you everything you need to get off the grid. Despite the focus on simplicity, the Hunter does come with a few creature comforts, like water-repellent interior fabric and heated front seats. As authentic as it gets, the Hunter stands out in a sea of SUVs and crossovers.
