Ulysse Nardin Freak X Razzle Dazzle Watch
During WWI, both the British and US Navies painted their warships in garish black and white stripes in an effort to confuse the enemy about their trajectory. They dubbed the patterns "razzle dazzle," and now nautically-inclined watchmaker is co-opting it for its Freak X Razzle Dazzle. Instead of a traditional dial, it has a decorative movement plate that integrates the "razzle dazzled" minute gear train. It's powered by a self-winding UN-230 movement, with a 43mm black DLC titanium case and a black openwork rubber leather or white openwork calfskin strap. Limited to 30 examples.
