The Urwerk brand started in the 1990s with the UR-102: a minimalist timepiece with a wandering hour as its only time marker. The model has made one-off appearances since then, with the Gaia being the latest release. The one-of-a-kind watch arrives in a smooth asphalt-colored aluminum and a platinum caseback that features an interpretation of the Gaïa prize in midnight blue. The iconic model is set to be auctioned in November on behalf of the "Only Watch" charity to fund research into Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
