Urwerk UR-220 Falcon Project Watch

Creators of futuristic timepieces since 1997, Urwerk is ready to unveil their latest addition to the world of "Haute Horlogerie". The UR-220 Falcon Project features a sleek, cutting edge case is comprised of 81 "thinner than thin" layers of CTP carbon that are compressed to form a hard resin for a featherweight, tough outer shell. The case protects the brand's in-house Calibre UR-7.20 hand-wound movement, complete with a 48-hour power reserve. The UR-220 also adopts the patented satellite indication feature of its predecessor with wandering hours on rotating cubes while a minute pointer sweeps across a 120-degree, 60-minute scale. The Swiss watchmaker also brings back the Oil Change indicator on the case back which shows the accumulated engine running time of the watch. To complete the look, the new timepiece features the company's first rubber strap which is cured, molded, and textured by a process that gives it a velvety touch and supreme comfort.
