US Army AR Dog Goggles

Military dogs are often used to check areas for explosives devices or anything hazardous. In order for these canines to get directions, their handlers must be within sight, potentially putting these soldiers in danger. The US Army AR Dog Goggles would possibly eliminate that threat. Developed by Command Sight, the augmented reality prototype would allow handlers to see what the dog sees and give visual cues and commands through the glasses. The project uses goggles the military dogs have already been wearing for protection, limiting the need for adaptation, while a 3D scan ensures the optics and electrical components are positioned correctly for each dog.
