Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time Everest Prototype Watch

Experienced mountaineer and professional photographer Cory Richards has already conquered Mount Everest twice — once without the aid of oxygen. For his most recent ascent, Richards was presented with a special prototype Dual Time watch from Vacheron Constantin. The one-of-a-kind timepiece was made with Richards trek in mind, created to help him brave Everest's high altitudes and freezing temperatures. The Everest Prototype features a 41mm titanium case with tantalum reinforcement under the bezel and a textured blue-grey frosted dial with distinctive orange accents. An exhibition caseback shows off the in-house mechanical movement that is enhanced with a 22k gold oscillating rotor that is engraved with a design based on one of Richards Everest photos. The unique timepiece is finished with two strap options: a full titanium Overseas bracelet, and an expedition-ready grey-blue Ventile fabric strap.
