Vässla x Teenage Engineering EPA-1 E-Moped
Teenage Engineering's products have a very specific, modern aesthetic. In collaboration with Vässla, they're bringing it to bear on the moped space with the EPA-1. EPA is short for En Passar Alla, or "one fits all", an ethos that's evident in the bike's ability to be customized and changed. 11 reinforced mounts are strategically placed for accessories, and the bike itself is approved for both Class 1 and Class 2 use — the former has a 2,600W motor and a top speed of nearly 28 mph, while the latter has a 1,000W motor and is limited to 15 mph. Two battery sizes are also available, with the 30Ah battery offering a range of 43 miles, while the 50Ah cell can go over 60 miles on a charge. The EPA-1 also offers three driving modes, hydraulic brakes with regenerative braking, LED lights, a small status screen, on-board USB charging, and a built-in alarm that locks the rear wheel for security.
