Velocity Chevrolet K10 Pickup Truck
The downside of vintage cars and trucks isn't the styling — it's everything else. While classic Land Rovers, Land Cruisers, and Broncos are as popular as ever, the Chevrolet K10 has been experiencing something of a resurgence, and Florida-based Velocity has a line of K10s rebuilt to a modern standard. Starting under the hood, a 460-horsepower GM LT1 V8 is mated to a 10-speed 10L80 automatic transmission. A bespoke Roadster Shop chassis with Fox coilover dampers, sway bars, and a Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear axle give the truck a much-improved ride. Wilwood six-piston calipers and 11-inch rotors bring everything to a halt. The bodywork is pure 1967-1972 K10, with premium Glasurit paint, fresh brightwork, and better fit and finish than factory. Inside is a bench seat with premium materials in stand or double-diamond stitching, a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, Vintage Air HVAC, and a Focal sound system. Velocity is now taking orders for its custom K10s, with deliveries starting in early 2025.
