In 1911, the Swedish company Svenska Biografteatern captured the streets of New York City during a trip to America. While the footage is historic and interesting in its original state, the eight-minute video only offered a black-and-white visualization of the vintage metropolis. Now, over a century later, YouTuber Denis Shiryaev has enhanced and restored the footage, producing a stunning 4k/60fps, colorized walkthrough of the Big Apple in the early 20th century.
