In this behind-the-scenes look, the franchise's vice president of visual effects Danielle Costa gives a walkthrough of some of the visual effects used to bring the insect-sized superheroes to the big screen.

The Vesco Turbinator II set a new land speed record for a wheel-driven car at 503 MPH. After the run, the team thought the Turbinator II had more left, and think a 600 mPH run might be possible.
For First Man, director Damien Chazelle not only had to transport viewers to another decade, but he also had to transport them through outer space. He did that with the help of Nathan Crowley. The seasoned production designer describes how his team used a mix of practical effects and CGI to recreate one of history's most iconic events.
