Behind the Soundtrack of Uncut Gems

Uncut Gems is already reaching legendary status, becoming A24's highest-grossing release. Along with Adam Sandler's depiction of the Diamond District jeweler Howard Ratner and the direction of the Safdie Brothers, Daniel Lopatin's score for the film is a major component in its success. The composer created the synth-heavy soundtrack alongside Josh Safdie mostly using the Moog One. In this documentary, the pair discuss the process behind crafting the movie's hypnotic sounds.
