It's only been two days since the trailer for Denis Villeneuve's Dune dropped and the comparisons are already rolling out. The comedian plays Hubie DuBois, a community goofball who spends every October 31st trying to keep his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts safe. This year, he must turn into an actual hero when members of the community start disappearing. Also starring Kevin James, Kenan Thompson, Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Steve Buscemi and Maya Rudolph, Hubie Halloween will premiere on Netflix on October 7, 2020.

    To follow up his Academy Award-winning film Parasite, Bong Joon-ho is going back to his archives. The director is releasing a remastered cut of his breakout film Memories of Murder. Based on a true story, the 2003 movie follows Detectives Park and Seo as they try to hunt down Korea's first serial killer. Neon is bringing the film to theaters on October 19th and 20th, followed by a special post-screening conversation with Bong Joon-ho and Edgar Wright.

    After being in some of the best comedies and biggest films of the '80s and '90s, Rick Moranis left Hollywood for over two decades to raise his children after the death of his wife. After announcing he would appear in a new Honey, I Shrunk the Kids in February 2020, one of his biggest fans — Ryan Reynolds — was able to awkwardly coax him in front of a camera.
