Polish skier Andrzej Bargiel successfully summited K2, and then skied back down over 28,000 feet, making him the first person in the world to do so.

Although not a part of the official Marvel Universe, the Spider-Man spin-off will begin a string of shared storylines featuring Sony-owned characters. The movie will follow the origins of the Spidey anti-hero as Eddie Brock transforms into Venom. Starring Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, and Riz Ahmed, the film is slated for release October 5, 2018.
After almost fives years, there will finally be a sequel to Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey. The documentary series will once again be hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and will explore uncharted territories, transporting viewers to the farthest corners of the universe. The show is expected to debut on Fox in the Spring of 2019 and will be followed by a companion book with the same name, written by Carl Sagan's wife Ann Druyan.
