Pegasus is Nike's top-selling running line and its longest-lived, and the 42 gives the everyday trainer a roomier fit. The ReactX foam midsole, up 13% in responsiveness over Nike's previous React foam, is paired with an Air Zoom unit that curves the full length of the shoe for the highest energy return Nike offers, from heel to toe-off.
