How NASA Is Returning To The Moon
NASA is quickly closing in on making a triumphant return to the Moon — but with a system designed to sustainably keep humans on the lunar surface and allow faster relaunch times. Named after the Greek goddess Artemis, the massive rocket will carry astronauts to the Gateway, a staging station in orbit around the Moon, before taking the crew to the surface where modules, rovers, and experiments will already be waiting. But Artemis' real mission is to test the tech we need for landing on Mars, the next step in human space travel.
