Jeff Koons' Play-Doh

Jeff Koons is known for making everyday objects into-large scale works of art. More than two decades in the making, "Play-Doh" is one of his most monumental sculptures. The 10-foot object first appeared in 2014 at the Whitney Museum as part of the artist's Celebration series and depicts the children's modeling toy using 27 individual forms of aluminum. The iconic piece will go up for sale on May 17, 2020 at Christie's in New York.
