The bedrock of music is the beat, and William Sun Petrus came up with a unique way to keep it. Using a 100-year-old typewriter, Petrus wired up the typewriter to an Arduino to create a MIDI device to trigger samples in software.

The history of NASA and the Charles Schultz's Peanuts dates back to 1968 when Snoopy was named the aerospace agency's safety mascot — a distinction held to this day through the Silver Snoopy Award program. The connection led to another partnership a year later, when the crew of Apollo 10 chose to nickname their command and lunar modules Charlie Brown and Snoopy. The dress rehearsal for the lunar landing was a success and is celebrated 50 years later with this limited edition t-shirt.
