Danny Torrance is all grown up. A follow-up to Stanley Kubrick's 1980 film, Doctor Sleep catches up with Jack Torrance's son nearly 40 years after his iconic stay at the Overlook Hotel. The story is based on Stephen King's sequel and finds the adult Danny dealing with alcoholism and his psychic powers. Written and directed by Mike Flanagan, the film is scheduled for release on November 8, 2019.
