For his latest film, Ridley Scott goes back to the 14th-century to retell the epic story of vengeance using inspiration from Eric Jager's book The Last Duel: A True Story of Trial by Combat in Medieval France . Starring Jodie Comer, Adam Driver, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck, The Last Duel is slated for release on October 15, 2021.
The G.I. Joe film series is getting a reboot with the debut of Snake Eyes. The film will follow the origin story of the classic character, starting with his induction into the ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage. Starring Henry Golding along with Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as The Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, and Iko Uwais as Hard Master, the movie will premiere in theaters on July 23, 2021.
Palme D'or winning director Apichatpong Weerasethakul makes his English-language debut with Memoria. Starring Tilda Swinton, the film follows a Scottish woman traveling through Colombia. After hearing a loud bang in her sleep, she begins to experience a mysterious sensory syndrome. The movie premiered at Cannes on July 15 and took home the Jury Prize, but there's no official release date yet.
Taika Waititi has dropped the first look at his new series coming to FX for Hulu. Created with Sterlin Harjo, the show follows a group of Indigenous teenagers looking to split from their life in rural Oklahoma and head to California. To get there, the friends enter into a life of crime and become the best thieves in town. Reservation Dogs will begin streaming on August 9, 2021.

As a promotion, the two actors get into their Marvel characters, Deadpool and Korg from Thor: Ragnarok, to react to the upcoming film. In the four-minute clip, the pair take jabs at Marvel and Disney, but before the bit is over, the R-rated anti-hero takes advantage of the opportunity to ask the Kronan gladiator for some tips on getting into the MCU.
