Palme D'or winning director Apichatpong Weerasethakul makes his English-language debut with Memoria. Starring Tilda Swinton, the film follows a Scottish woman traveling through Colombia. After hearing a loud bang in her sleep, she begins to experience a mysterious sensory syndrome. The movie premiered at Cannes on July 15 and took home the Jury Prize, but there's no official release date yet.

The film will take viewers behind-the-scenes of films like Top Gun, The Doors, and Tombstone, while giving a glimpse into his complex life. Val will premiere on Amazon Prime on August 6, 2021.
