Simple, yet striking. A split upper of stark white in the front and black around the heel gives our Colorblock collaboration with Oliver Cabell a distinctive look. The aforementioned upper, made with full-grain leather from a tannery in Vicenza, Italy, plays with the opposite nature of light-reflecting white and light-absorbing black while evoking our website's design. It's paired with a lightweight Margom outsole formed using Shore 70A-rated rubber for maximum comfort and longevity. The pieces are joined by hand over several days in an El Marche factory, resulting in a versatile shoe that's simple enough for casual wear yet refined enough for more important occasions.
Knitted by hand in upstate New York and finished in Brooklyn, these fingerless gloves offer a level of craftsmanship and utility we've been searching for. The Ragg wool blend provides moisture-wicking properties while keeping hands warm, and a bit of nylon weaved in with the wool provides durability. Cuff hems are serged with an elastic thread to help retain cuff shape. A 2.5-ounce deerskin palm patch, sewn on with a century-old Singer chain-stitch machine, offers just enough grip for daily usage. The Upstate Stock label is tacked on lightly and can either be removed or kept on. And of course the fingerless gloves are perfect for our device-obsessed world.
