Hayao Miyazaki is a master of animation and imagination. Films like Porco Rosso and Howl's Moving Castle are some of the best anime works ever produced, and helped bring the genre to worldwide audiences. Director Todd Phillips runs through the creation of the scene and how Hildur Guðnadóttir's haunting score inspired Joaquin Phoenix's performance. He also breaks down the movie's opening scene in this clip.
