Spotify Streaming on iPod Classic

Junk drawers across the globe are housing dated technology. Guy Dupont is making those old devices new again by hacking them back to life. The software engineer reworks a 17-year-old iPod classic to wirelessly stream Spotify returning it once again to its music-playing glory — no iTunes required. To do so, he gutted the MP3 player and loaded it with a Raspberry Pi, and added a color LCD display and a rechargeable 1,000 mAh battery pack. These new modifications allow the iPod to wirelessly access and search the entire Spotify library.
