The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It
The Conjuring Universe once again dips into the case files of Ed and Lorraine Warren for The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. Set in 1981, the film recreates the real-life events surrounding the "Devil Made Me Do It" case, where Arne Cheyenne Johnson murdered his landlord and used demonic possession as his defense. The trial became the first in U.S. history that a murder suspect claimed demonic possession as a defense. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as the notorious paranormal investigators when the horror flick goes to theaters and HBO Max on June 4, 2021.
