CBS and Jordan Peele are bringing one of the best shows in TV history back to the small screen with a modern-day makeover. The Twilight Zone will come to CBS's All Access streaming service in April, with Peele performing Rod Serling's double role as host and producer. Peele takes the role seriously, initially turning down the project only to have a change of heart. Peele plans to do the reboot justice, turning the mirror back on our changing society the way the original Twilight Zone did almost 60 years ago.
15-year-old photographer Govert De Roos captured one of the most iconic images of the 1960s. Using a fake press pass he'd made himself, De Roos was let in to John Lennon and Yoko Ono's presidential suite at the Hilton Amsterdam, room number 702. Using the announcement of their marriage to gain awareness for world peace during the height of the Vietnam War, the couple's Bed-In For Peace let members of the press into their room for 12 hours a day for one week — and De Roos was there.
