After racking up the SXSW Audience Award for Narrative Spotlight and distribution from Roadside Attractions, directors Tyler Nilson and Michael Schwartz shared a look at their indie The Peanut Butter Falcon. The modern Mark Twain-style adventure follows Zak — a young boy with Down syndrome and dreams of becoming a professional wrestler. Having escaped from his nursing home, the aspiring Macho Man finds friendship and whiskey on the run with a small-time outlaw. Starring Shia LaBeouf, Dakota Johnson, and Zachary Gottsagen, the film will be released on August 9, 2019.

Lil Nas X has released his follow-up to "Old Town Road" and it doesn't disappoint. The Atlanta rapper takes his Billy Ray Cyrus and raises a Kurt Cobain by sampling Nirvana's 1992 single "In Bloom." The accompanying visuals are giving off major Westworld vibes, featuring Lil Nas X and a female companion as futuristic, host-like androids.
