Ryan Hartshorn and his family are completely flipping the script on Vodka making. Rather than using starches from potatoes or fruit, they're producing the clear liquor from sheep's whey. The Hartshorns own a sheep cheesery in Tasmania and began utilizing the leftover whey as a base for vodka. Their boutique spirit has not only decreased their waste but also created a product that has earned top honors at the World Vodka Awards.
